It is increasingly difficult to set aside time for focus reading in this day and age.
We were commissioned to work on a video presenting 3 practical tips(by NLB), for the public to practice deep reading.

The Brief

Storyboarding
I have included some fun elements (e.g social media cats/ local bus scenes/ dogs) to fit the quirky tone of the script.

The Process

Style Frames
The style frames for this project were based on a reference look provided by the client. The clean, minimal design will also help to put emphasis on the main points of the script.

The Final Video

I love to create characters that are lovable and fun, and I think those fits right into the tone of this video! Due to the tight timeline of the project, the movements of the characters have to be minimalized. As character expression is really important to me, I extra care in animating the characters well even when the schedule is tight. Here’s the final look of everything put together!
